Northwood Wins Battle of the Books!

Congratulations to The Bookworms (Sara H., Stephanie G., Vanessa G. & Fiona H.) and Amanda M. (who filled in during the championship battle) for winning the district-wide Battle of the Books competition on May 29th. Battle of the Books is a reading competition in which teams of four read ten chapter books then answer reading comprehension questions. Despite the fact that this was the first year Northwood participated, our team beat challengers from El Centro, Snow and West Park to bring home the trophy!
