About Our Art Program Art is a multi-faced lens; genres of art, materials used individual expression, and instructional experiences. When young children are given the opportunity to explore and create in a safe, inspired environment, they will build confidence at their developmental level to become independent artists free of adult intervention. We strongly believe that art skills develop at their own pace and every step counts. Our fine art program exposes students to a spectrum of art by master artists from a variety of time periods. All grade levels have State Standards in Visual arts which are aligned with art instruction. Each grade level has an overarching theme encompassing the elements of art (color, line, form, texture, shape).
